Who doesn’t adore the occasional wallow in trash TV? I do, believe me. But “The Girlfriend,” now streaming on Prime Video, teases lowbrow behavior among highbrow snobs but only barely delivers the sinful goods. Famously cool Robin Wright, who directed half of the six, one-hour episodes, seems reluctant to get her hands dirty. And that’s a shame.
