July 15, 2025 is Emmy nomination day and it’s not too soon to nudge the TV Academy about shows and performances that should be—make that better be— on their final list of contenders. I don’t know what it is about Emmy voters but they have the drag-ass habit of declaring the same nominees and winners year after year and ignoring the quality new stuff that might indicate the nominators are actually paying attention. The Golden Globes do it, so why not Emmy?
