[Update] What’s Hot and Not at Cannes

Stars from JLaw to Denzel and Spike glam walked the Cannes red carpet, but America walked home with nothing on awards night.

The buzz this year is off the charts.

Bonjour! You must know that the Cannes Film Festival, running from May 13 to May 24, is more in the news than ever in 2025. Last year “Anora,” the winner of the Palm d’Or (the top prize), went on to haul off Oscars for best picture, actress Mikey Madison and writer-director-editor Sean Baker. Naturally, all the new contenders are itching to repeat that jackpot.
