They said it couldn’t be done. And by that I mean critics’ darling Paul Thomas Anderson actually scoring the No. 1 spot at the box office and his personal biggest opening ever at $22 million with “One Battle After Another.” He’s done it and yet industry experts keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. PTA fans feel like Leonardo DiCaprio running around in that ratty bathrobe looking for the next disaster to strike.
