And reports insist that 2024’s “Inside Out 2,” tops the all-time charts with a global worldwide box office of $1.7 billion. China would like you to forget all that. Ever since “Ne Zha 2” was released early this year in theaters across China on the first day of the Chinese New Year, all previous records for animation have been forced to eat its dust.
