Now here’s some news worth celebrating. To honor its 10th anniversary, the super-smash Broadway musical “Hamilton” is coming to a theater near you. Titled "Hamilton: The Film," it features creator-star Lin-Manuel Miranda and the original Broadway cast and will show on the big screen for the first time. Miranda stated that he always wanted to release this live-on-stage document of “Hamilton” in theaters, just like Taylor Swift did later with her “Eras” tour, but the pandemic limited it to a 2020 streaming debut on Disney+. The theatrical release also includes new bonus content with backstage footage and interviews with the original cast and creators.
