How did Francis Coppola’s mega-flop “Megalopolis” end up missing in action? The crushing reviews of a film that compared America to the fall of the Roman Empire probably deterred you from seeing it in theaters. You weren’t alone. But this was Coppola, after all, the legend behind “The Godfather” trilogy, “Apocalypse Now,” “The Conversation” and countless others. True cinema addicts would see it out of respect, right? Not really. Like most busy people, you thought you’d catch it on streaming and see what all the fuss was about.
