So far there have been no reports of playwright Samuel Beckett turning in his grave. That’s good news for Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, the erstwhile stoners of “party on dudes” comedy in 1989’s “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.” They’re now going legit on Broadway as the stars of Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot,” a surrealist 1952 masterwork about faith, patience and the mysteries of existence, widely regarded as "the most significant English-language play of the 20th century.”
