You can feel Richard Gadd, the awards phenom from 2024’s “Baby Reindeer,” trying not to repeat himself in “Half Man,” but the ghost of that surprise Emmy juggernaut hovers over his new series like an unwelcome ghost from the past. The topic is still a trauma chaser for a squirmy cocktail of toxic masculinity, but this time Gadd—bearded and muscled up to the point of being unrecognizable—is the monster doing the stalking.
