This five-episode series hits Netflix with no apologies for being glorious trash. The title says it all. “Sirens.“ Let the word resonate, feel its taste in your mouth as it evokes those dangerously flirty creatures from Greek mythology who lure men  to their doom with their siren songs. You’ll surely wonder what’s on the playlist for Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, and Milly Alcock who don’t exactly look mythic while enjoying a beachy Hampton-ish Labor Day weekend inhabited by a conclave of one-percenters.  Murder is threatened. Isn’t it always on elevated soap opera like this one? The ladies do spend a lot of time getting dressed to wow for the big charity gala that will put a glam capper on their days in the sun.
