Sorry haters! Christopher Nolan doesn’t make crap movies. Not one of the 13 films he’s directed to date has scored lower than 70 percent on Rotton Tomatoes. So my ranking here is basically gradations of quality, to separate the great from the merely good and even just the nice try. Nolan will turn 56 on July 30, and he’s making getting older seem suspiciously like fun. He just picked his favorite James Bond movie and it’s “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” He’s right, of course. He’ll praise the works of Stanley Kubrick and then use the phrase “essential viewing” to describe “Talladega Nights.”
All Christopher Nolan Movies Ranked
I pick the hits and near misses from the “The Odyssey” maestro.
