Commenting Guidelines — AKA: How Not to Be That Guy

Comments are for paid subscribers, and I want you to use them. Argue with my takes. Add your own. Call me out if you think I missed the mark. That’s the whole point — we make this thing better together.

That said, a few ground rules:

  1. Keep it civil. Disagree all you want, but don’t get personal or nasty. This isn’t Twitter.
  2. Stay on topic. If the post is about Cannes, don’t derail into conspiracy theories about Marvel's Phase 18.
  3. No spam. Self-promotion, links to shady sites, or comment bots will be nuked.
  4. No hate speech, harassment, or offensive garbage. Zero tolerance. I mean it.

I reserve the right to remove comments (or disable your comment access) if you’re turning the vibe into a dumpster fire. This is a community for people who love movies — even when we disagree.

So jump in. Be smart. Be funny. Be real. But don’t be that guy.
