Since this is my hometown film fest, I take a sense of pride in the depth of field among films chosen by the selection committee led by NYFF artistic director Dennis Lim. So don’t think I’ve lost my art house cred and hate me for saying that the fanboy in me can’t wait to see “Godzilla Minus Zero.” I know, what’s a giant lizard movie doing at such a prestigious gathering?
