OK, I’m going to start by a process of elimination. Andrew Garfield, ace actor though he may be, did the fewest, having only starred in three “Spider-Man” movies: “The Amazing Spider-Man” (2012), “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” (2014) and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2021). And let’s face it, that last one was just a cameo. No “just” about it to be fair. It did bring together all three of the humans who squeezed into the suit. And by that I mean Garfield, Tobey Maguire and current place holder Tom Holland. That was historic. But if I’m being honest (and why shouldn’t I be?), Garfield’s Spidey films stirred more apathy than amazement. It was over and out for him.
