Since “The Invite” opens all over the country this weekend and you loved it, how do you rate its chances at the Oscars?

I’m cautiously optimistic. Since box office results for the wide opening aren’t in yet, you can never be too sure. The Academy never likes to back an embarrassing money loser. Breakeven profits are OK as long as the public can join the critics in the cheering section. And I think “The Invite,” from the golden indie studio A24, can turn a tidy profit.
